The sheath silhouette is a form-fitting, curve-hugging style that is simple and sleek. This silhouette will emphasize your curves as it lightly skims over your curves from top to bottom. A sheath wedding dress typically has a smaller train. This silhouette is easy to move around/function in during your wedding day. If you have a pear shape, thick or short-waisted, and have a fuller figure this silhouette may not look the best on you. This silhouette is available in various fabrics and embellishments.

Mermaid Wedding Dress Silhouette

The mermaid silhouette is also called a fit/flare and or a trumpet. This silhouette is all about showing off your curves! The bodice is always form-fitting and tight with the skirt flaring out at various lengths depending on the wedding dress being a mermaid, fit/flare, and or trumpet. The hourglass figure comes to mind with this silhouette. This style is known to emphasize your waist and hips. So if you have a triangular or hourglass shape this silhouette is perfect for you! A-Line Wedding Dress Silhouette

The A-line silhouette is perfect for every body shape. If you are a pear, apple, and or a rectangle shape this silhouette will show off your assets. The A-line silhouette looks just like the letter A. The bodice of the dress flows from the top and the waist isn’t cinched or defined. The skirt on this silhouette isn’t very full either. This silhouette can come in various fabrics and embellishments.

Ballgown Wedding Dress Silhouette

The Ballgown silhouette has a fitted bodice/waist and a full circle skirt. You can make your skirt extremely full or slim. The ballgown is defined by the circle skirt. This silhouette is perfect and flattering on every body shape too. Also if you have a petite frame no worries you can keep the fullness of your skirt to your proportions. So you don’t have to feel like the wedding dress is taking you over!! We call that type of silhouette a modified ballgown. This silhouette can come in various fabrics and embellishments.
