As its name suggests, The Farmhouse has long served as a home for farm grounds until the 1960s before its development into “Murray Manor”. The Farmhouse has been passed along through four generations of the Murray family and now serves as a site for special events and weddings. Located between Wilmington and Newark, it’s isolated from the city for an intimate ceremony with friends and family. The Covered Bridge Inn

Originally constructed in the 1830s, The Covered Bridge Inn sits on the southeastern coast of Delaware. With its scenic landscape and extensive history, you’ll say your “I do’s” against a beautiful backdrop of pastures, ponds, and its barn. After its recent restoration, the grounds now include a farmhouse salon, fireplaces, ceremony space, and wedding barn with 4,000 square feet. You’re even free to book the venue for the entire weekend for your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. Thousand Acre Farm

With its convenient location and waterfront views of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, Thousand Acre Farm has recently introduced its new ‘Cider Barn’. The barn can accommodate up to 45 people indoors, but you’re also free to use their sweeping lawns for a larger outdoor ceremony.
